Pragnya Govindu

I'm Pragnya, a Pine View School senior who has grown my STEM passions since 6th grade. To solidify my programming expertise, I've learned Java, Python, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and C. I'm also Autodesk Inventor, RECF Pre-Engineering and Robotics, and OSHA certified. I volunteer regularly at the Suncoast Science Center to share my passion for STEM with younger kids. As only one of two girls in my grade who has continued my school's engineering class levels (and one of only 12 students to take AP CSP one year), I felt that something had to be done to get more girls interested in STEM. An AP Seminar class sparked an aspiration of doing research in AI, and I hope to use my computer science skills to create exciting programs to get more girls interested in technology.
